Well the first couple of days are manageable. He did come back that night and decided that honesty was the best policy (something I've been saying for years!). Considering he's only been 'involved' with her for 4 days, they seem to have made a lot of life plans. When I scratched the graffiti into the car and called it mine, she offered to buy him a new one. When it looked like he was being flung out she offered to rent a house for them to move into together. They are now at the professing love stage and he's even thinking marriage.
Half way through these confessions I decided on the mature choice of getting drunk. So she wants to buy him a car and settle him into a house, that's why he was leaving me? He wanted independence and freedom without any ties, and his burgeoning relationship seems to be jumping back into that boring and stale life.
I can't work out if she's a retarded gold digger, or has serious daddy issues. She's buying him step by step and he can't even see it. Apparently it's not like that at all, she's just really kind and doesn't care about money.
Well I'm sorry I can't think of anyone who want to snag an older man with a family and drag him into a 'family life' situation, at least not anyone without mental issues. She wants a house with a back and front garden and at least 3 bedrooms to rent. The reasoning being that kids need a garden (I'm in a 3rd floor flat) but if she thinks he's going to do gardening she's gonna have to up her game because he's always hated the idea of a garden and doing gardening.
The 3 bedrooms? So the kids can move in. Seriously? I must be going insane here. She thinks she's getting my kids? My oldest is 15 and I wouldn't let him move in til at least 16 because they both work nights and I believe that parental supervision is fairly important in a child's life. Obviously she isn't really in the loop being a child herself.
She also asking him how much it would cost to get rid of me. She wanted to know how much our joint debt was so she could pay me off so that he wouldn't need to have contact with me. He said no, like an idiot, because he didn't want to feel indebted to her and tied down (read above for all the ways she's tying him down!). So new car, new house, take my kids and get rid of me: Super classy.
I told him she was suffering from cuckoo syndrome and apparently its not like that; She's just super kind and doesn't care what people think. Heck he even asked for her permission to have break up sex with me, and got it. Unfortunately I was very drunk and it happened despite my best intentions.
He did chose to spend all Thursday with me. That mostly involved lying on the couch snoozing and only moving to answer her messages or to pester me for hangover sex. You know for a guy who seems adamant that he doesn't want me to be left alone and lonely, he really doesn't get it
